Kenya is a best places to visit, with amazing wildlife and landscapes. It’s also a best places to visit if you want to learn something new about Africa or just get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Here are ten destinations in Kenya that will make your trip unforgettable:
Lamu is a beautiful island that’s home to the ancient Swahili town of Lamu. It’s also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which means it’s one of Kenya’s most popular tourist destinations.
The city has been inhabited for centuries by the Swahili people, who migrated from Somalia in the 15th century. Today the population is mostly composed of them with a small number of British colonists and Arab traders who came later on during times when trade was booming between East Africa and Arabia (and vice versa).
The architecture in Lamu is an interesting mix between traditional East African styles such as dhow building and Arabic architecture influenced by Islam; this gives you some idea why there are so many mosques here!
Nairobi is the capital and largest city of Kenya. Nairobi’s population is about 3.3 million, making it a major political, commercial, financial, cultural and transport hub for East Africa. It’s also home to two national museums: The British Museum in central Nairobi as well as Kenyatta National Museum on Langata Road.
Nairobi has been called an “African Seattle” because it has many high-rise buildings along its main thoroughfares such as Strathmore Avenue (a shopping district) and Moi Avenue which runs parallel with Strathmore Avenue above ground level until it reaches Uhuru Highway where it becomes underground through tunnels under streets where you can see houses on either side above ground level!
Malindi is a coastal town in Kenya, located on the Indian Ocean. It’s one of the most popular tourist destinations in Kenya and has a long history of trade and commerce. The town is known for its beaches, which are perfect for swimming or sunbathing during hot days.
In addition to its beaches, Malindi offers many other attractions that make it an ideal place to visit:
- You can explore the local culture by visiting museums or historical landmarks like Fort Jesus (a former Portuguese fort) or Castle Hill (where African kings ruled).
- If you like fishing, make sure to check out Malindi Lagoon where there are plenty of fish shoals just waiting for you!

Samburu National Reserve is a 1,000 square-kilometer park that straddles the Kenya-Sudan border. The reserve is located in the Samburu District of Northern Province and contains savanna grasslands, forested areas, rivers and lakes as well as some wildlife habitats such as elephant grassland.
The most popular activity in this area is camping because it allows you to get close with nature without having to travel far from your accommodation. There are many campsites near water sources such as rivers or lakes where you can enjoy a relaxing time away from base camp while at the same time enjoying nature’s beauty around you!
If you want more adventure then try hiking trails through dense forests where there will be plenty of game if looking for them (such as buffalo). Alternatively there are also many game drives available if this doesn’t appeal then maybe take some time out for relaxation instead – make sure not too much though otherwise I’m afraid there won’t be enough room left over!

The reserve has an incredible number of animals that you can see on safari tours: lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes and even elephants! You’ll also find rhinos here if you’re lucky enough to encounter them while exploring this beautiful region.
If you want to get away from all that noise made by tourists who go there every year then head out into the wilderness where there are no other humans around except for yourself (and maybe some other tourists). This is a great place for someone who wants peace & quiet but still wants access so they can see some amazing wildlife!
